The Women Empowerment Awards in China, created by the Women Empowerment Council (WEC), is an independent and inclusive award program not associated with any one company or institution. The awards seek to recognize trailblazing individuals and innovative companies that have demonstrated a robust commitment to promoting women in the workforce and taking actions to effectively advance gender equality which can drive stronger business outcomes.  中国女性赋权奖由 WE 女性发展协会（WEC）于2021年创立，是一项独立且具有包容性的奖项计划，与任何一个公司、组织或机构无关。该奖项旨在表彰那些在促进女性就业方面表现出坚定承诺，并采取行动有效促进性别平等，推动更强大商业成果的开拓性个人和创新公司。
This year will be the third consecutive year of the WE Awards. In 2021, we achieved 65 nominations across six award categories and 300 guests attended the in-person ceremony in Beijing. Last year, we expanded our reach by 30%, achieving 84 nominations and over 500 global attendees at the virtual ceremony.
